New DVD releases ?

Thanks to some sterling detective work by Keith Adams and other members of the Yahoo Jarre group, there seems to be a release on DVD of Rendezvous Houston and (in Australia) of The China Concerts in the next few weeks.
Of course, these could be pulled by JMJ as was the La Defense DVD a few years back, but this is interesting news all the same:
Rendezvous Houston:

o_o
No idea if it's the real deal or not, I guess it's cool if it is... but they'll probably be direct copies in that case. :\
... especially since Houston DVD seems to have Dreyfus as the publisher.
(Would still be neat if they were released, it's always somewhat fun when new releases come all of a sudden without nobody knowing anything

)

Woah, seems like this might be serious after all!
I guess Dreyfus has finally learned to milk the cow, though :p

I hope you are not calling JMJ a cow.
I am going against my principals because the way I feel about FDM.

But I really want this.

Oh you'd like to milk JMJ now wouldn't you
Anyhow, I'm probably not gonna get it since it's most likely gonna be a VHS transfer with no extras. In fact, I'd guess Dreyfus would win a lot of fans on his side if they started releasing old concerts on DVD with new extras and unseen footage.

....It would be beyond belief if the WHOLE concert was released with the PROPER audio tracks.

Perhaps they checked the VHS? Have you inquired thoroughly?

It's still listed on the HMV website with 13 October as the release date.
