RadioJarre - new internet radio show

Hey,
I was thinking about setting up a weekly hour-long radio show on ShoutCast, with JMJ music and talk, requests etc.
Any of you lot got any tips?

Go ahead if you've got ShoutCast working before, but if you haven't, then it's going to be a long process, believe me.

For my case, from 6PM to 8PM every day and all the weekend ! (not the night
)

I was asking because for an hour-long weekly broadcast, I'd need to know what times were good for people and when they'd be most likely to listen to it.
Also, has anyone got any ideas for what could be included?

Good JMJ tracks, JMJ like music, speaches he did, concerts, covers from fans, news...

Are you aware of the fact that streaming trough shoutcast costs a lot of bandwith?

Yeah, but since it's only once a week it's not too much of a problem.

If you want, you can record yours shows and broadcast them on Radio Equinoxe....

Well, it's up to the single moment, that's what I meant. If you want 10 users to listen to 96kbps songs, you'll need an upload speed of 1mb/s... that's what I'm trying to say

It's a very nice offer, and one I may take up.
However, it would take away the interactive part, which is what I was aiming to emphasize on.
So I was more aiming towards a shoutcast thing, where people could e-mail in covers, remixes, requests etc.

That could work well with Michael's offer. People can send it in before a certain day and then you can record your show with speeches and all that and include the covers/remixes, and then have it broadcasted by Michael

The main advantages with broadcasting in Radio Equinoxe are :
- it's free (for you and listeners)
- it's legal (I pay monthly to SACEM)
- it can support 100 listeners.
