I was looking for some info about the Koblenz concert and incidentally ran into the jarrelook.de website were I found this info that I translated into English.

As they have spoken to JMJ himself and also Francis Rimbert I guess this info has to be taken seriously. There already seems to be a fixed date for a concert in Paris. :D

Here is the translation:

"01-06-2009:
After the concerts in Koblenz and Zurich, Jean Michel Jarre has ended the first part of his "In-Doors World Tour". The Jarrelook-Team was present at both concerts and could also meet Jarre and his musicians. Detailed reports and photos will follow shortly.
Here, briefly the most important news that we have: Jarre himself spoke to us about 12 concerts that are planned in Germany next year! Shows are also planned in Spain, Italy, France (25-3-2010 Paris Bercy) and also the USA and even Australia.
Francis Rimbert told us that they all had a lot of work to do. Today, there should be a large meeting in Paris already. For the rest of this year there will be no more concerts. This time will be used for preparations for the concerts next year and the production of new music instead.
Those who were not able to attend the concert in Koblenz can also be happy. Apparently, the concerts this year were only a kind of "test run" for what is yet to come."

This info was posted by Matthias from Jarrelook.de. Thanks a lot for this info :D
Next album: Oxygene 14-20.

I agree. They are very good countries to add on the tour and JMJ has mentioned Los Angeles and Australia. 8)

I think you missed one though, India. :punch: :j/k:

We're only in June. Who knows what plans he has for the remainder of this year.

I know, but we were told they restart in September. I said because of this. We all know that plans can change.

Thanks for this John! Great news, if accurate. :D

12 concerts, isn't that too much ? Maybe not for the real JMJ fans, but looking at the Aarhus concert with the many empty seats, how big is the risk that this will happen with 12 dates in one country, maybe better 6 concerts with good ticket sales then 12 with bad ticket sales.

12 concerts in Germany only also sounds strange... perhaps it was misspelled or misunderstood, without pointing at anybody :)

I also found that strange. Could it have been meant as "except for" Germany, 12 more concerts around the world?? :P
Or maybe are they planning the next years concerts while they're spending their time in Germany? :smoke:

I have to admit that I also was surprised when I read it :smoke:

This is part of the original German text:
"Jarre selbst sprach uns gegenüber von 12 (in Worten: zwölf!) Konzerten, die nächstes Jahr in Deutschland geplant seien!. Darüber hinaus sind u.a. Shows geplant in Spanien, Italien, Frankreich (25.3.2010 Paris Bercy), sowie USA und sogar Australien. "

If you look at the Oxygene tour last year there were only 4 concerts in Germany: Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Berlin.

So perhaps JMJ means that there will be 12 more concerts in Europe in 2010 and some of these 12 will be in Germany :?: I assume they were communicating in English with JMJ. No offence but perhaps there was some misunderstanding because of the language barrier.

After Amsterdam and Brussels I really want to go to another concert. The Paris Bercy concert in 2010 is very high on my wish list :D
Next album: Oxygene 14-20.
