BlahBlahCafe - Jean-Michel Jarre forum

This may have already been achieved, if so, I'm sorry but, with all the combined skills within this forum wouldn't it be great to have an exact, whole album, replica of 'music for supermarkets'? I've heard many talented musicians on this site perfectly recreate bits of Oxygene and Equinoxe and think it would great to those skills to use by producing a copy of MFS in it's entirety that doesn't sound like its playing under water?

We have at least one member (Radek) who has recreated a fine example of the opening track to MFS.

I remember two other projects like this, however I think both died unfinished.

So far I know of these versions:
MFS 1:
- Johan Schurer (Mercurey 1994 and later a new version)
- Radek Tymecki
- Per Kristian (adds new lead synth and some vocals)
- Miguel Ettema & Stuart James (trance cover on Jarre Forever CD)

MFS2:
- Johan Schurer (Mercurey)
- Scope
-Radek Tymecki

MFS3 (final part):
-FrequenZ

MFS4:
- FrequenZ

Part 5 is Blah Blah Cafe, I've haven't heard a cover of part 6-7 yet.

MFS8:
- Radek Tymecki

So now the reconstruction of MFS is nearly complete - I say 'nearly' because MFS part 6 by VinceBlood is only a draft. But now we have for the first time all 8 parts of the album!

Yeah, that would be great! A mix in which the tracks flow into each other - like on the original recording.
