Now official on DVD for the first time in Germany: the movie Die Hamburger Krankheit (aka La maladie de Hambourg/The Hamburg syndrome/El virus de Hamburgo) from 1979 with Jarre's music (Oxygene/Equinoxe) as soundtrack. Look here:

Nice spot ! I've just ordered it. I've always wanted to see this.
It will give me a good chance to brush up on my - limited - German.

I downloaded it from the net last year, but I've never watched it completely. I don't understand German. Does anybody know if this DVD comes with subtitles in English or Spanish? Same thing happened to me with "Strike". It has Polish audio, but a few days ago, I received a copy with English subtitles and finally watched the movie

Unfortunately this DVD release contains only german language (and has no subtitles). But there's a second movie on the disc from the same director - "Herbst der Gammler" (63 min.) - plus other bonus material...

The tracks - as befits their use in a film - are short extracts ca. 10-30 seconds long. The use of the tracks is very effective - particularly the first 10 seconds of Oxygene 5, as it builds up the tension very well, and Equinoxe 2 where more reflective moments occur. The music is a far better fit to a film than was evident in e.g. 'Gallipoli' IMO.
