I"m just looking forward to watch this movie!

I've seen 5 minutes trailer from it, seems it has great visuals!

Also I have always been interested in themes like this movie has!

I'm a M A S S I V E disaster movie fan myself. I was going to go the my local cinama to watch this, but decided to wait until it gets a blu-ray release. I dont want kids ruining my viewing pleasure. It may be a typical tongue & cheek movie, but that what you expect from films like this. The 5 minute preview is stupendous.

I am getting a bit more wondered if the tour would continue.
What do you think?
He may takes a break - beside new album and Perth, of course - and comes back touring in 2 years instead?

What I hope will happen is:
Release of a new album and a GIGANTIC outdoors concert like he did with the releases back in the day. And make it another Paris La Defense style of size gig where the entire city is taken "hostage".

What I think will happen:
Release of a new album with more Indoors concerts with 3 new tracks of the new album replacing some older once...
27-11-10: Ahoy Rotterdam
22-11-16: Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam
01-07-25: Palais royal de Bruxelles/Paleizen Plein Brussel

What about recording of the concerts?
It was said that it would be recorded in 3D for a later 3D-BluRay and there should be a snip of this on a demo BluRay.
But have anyone seen a full concert filmed with multiple 3D cameras?

Of cause he will not release such a BD before the concerts are over, but the recording could have bin made.

I think the tour probably will continue into 2012 but I think that it will be accompanied by a live album of the tour with a track played from each venue like Kraftwerk did with 'Minimum Maximum' and maybe the DVD would be the same.
Shows attended:

06/10/2010: Tour '2010': CIA, Cardiff, Wales
04/10/2016: Electronica Tour, Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff, Wales
08/10/2016: Electronica Tour, Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham, England

But wouldn't that require, that he had recorded the concerts?
And it's hopefully a BluRay not DVD-format from last century!

2012 - The Monaco concert released on DVD/bluray, a new studio album and the Perth concert performed on the back of the new studio album.

The tour can wait until the end of 2012 or the start of 2013. The venues are not going anywhere.
Jarre concerts attended - Destination Docklands 1988 - Paris La Defense 1990 - Europe In Concert 1993 (Manchester & London) - Oxygene Tour 1997 (Birmingham)

Releasing anything on DVD shows you are way behind in technology!
I fear the Monaco will be the only release, because I don't think it was as good as the indoor concerts :(

I still don't understand why "Live in you Livingroom" was not made a 3D BluRay long time ago. The whole thing was filmed with two HD-cameras, he could have been the first to release a 3D concert, but now it's to late.

I guess he could take a break from touring and make a new album. Or at least release something. I wouldn't mind if he continued touring and came back to Finland as well, but in that case he should revise the concerts somehow so they wouldn't get stale.

I was going to suggest a downloadable 3D hologram, but as that hasn't been invented, guess we will have to make do with DVD and blu ray. I did put blu ray. I have a blu ray system at home, so no, I'm not behind on technology.

I think the release of monaco will occur this year.
I hope for a new album next year, something very different from teo and tea :hypocrit:
And of course, for the Perth show (and some kind of show in Romania, perhaps) to confirm very soon !

I hope so too, but we're running quickly out of time unless they pull something out of the bag pretty soon :D
