Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I released my fifth album "TIME".
It was inspired by the electronic music of the seventies. It has flavours of Jean Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno, Klaus Schulze, Vangelis, Alain Goraguer, Derek Wadsworth, Gershon Kingsley... and more.

This is a nice album, even though the echoes of Jarre's music are very distant, so to say... It takes more from Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream in some of the tracks, while others sound like John Dyson or jazz-pop musicians.

I appreciate a vast variety of moods, but for me, there could be more stronger melodies. There's always enough going on in the music to keep you interested, none of the tracks falls into being boring or overlong - this is NOT true for vast majority of EM today, because most musicians are just too happy with copy-paste approach. Fortunately, this is not the case with Johannes Roussel's album.

All in all, a good album for evenings and nights, and a pleasant accompaniment to reading or working. Recommended.
