Intriguing to see a live drumset in the studio. Wonder what it is being used for. Wish JMJ would concentrate more on performing a peice of actual music than messing around with sounds when he does these interviews.

He will never do that, Jon. He is not Tangerine Dream or Vangelis. Certain thing will never change.

Maybe no one asked him to play his compositions. The journalists which came to his studio perhaps asked him technical questions. (The interviews which are issued in german papers, magazines or TV.) They are fascinating about his old and new instruments, which Jean Michel has collected.

That piano peice is over 30 years old, so really doesn't count as such. The modern Jarre and audeince don't really see Jarre as the composer he is. Messing around with sounds is one thing, but you can do a lot in 30 seconds when performing a piece of music. That we don't see. He seems more content in making noises.

Why sad? It's natural. Still enjoying the sounds of his old setup.
