DR_Jones, thank you VERY much for two remixes in FLAC. I was looking for these tracks for years.
Is it possible to share Zoolookologie (Extended Remix) the same way (in FLAC)?

Thanks in advance!

it's here: www.vdgeest.net/jarre/mp3/03-Zoolookolo ... emix).flac

Ripped from the excellent 80s extended mix compilation, which I can recommend you all.

Only Zoolook, Zoolookologie and Rendez-Vous. Not Equinoxe 4. They are on two huge 80s 12" collection CDs (that's why Equinoxe 4 is not included - it's from the 70s)

great collections too by the way.
I found a good quality of the Mazure Extended version of Equinoxe 4 on youtube, no LP crackle, less noise.

If interessed in grabing it...

Love to hear that sequence that loud and pronounced in a clear recording - great to analyse for my cover!

I repeat the request, does anyone have these remixes in flac format and would be nice to send me on PM?

Is there anything different between the mixes? If not, why would these be requested in specific?

I never knew those two were released on CDs, I thought I would have to deliver the vinl records to professional remasternig guy to squeeze out the most quality out of the grooves.

Yeah, I mailed the guy once who released the CDs. He got the masters from FDM and used those for these releases. It was a lot of hassle to get the rights, he told me. They were reluctant to have them released.

Still curious as to why they never bothered again, but oh well...

Edit: Checked the prices on those CD's, yikes, that's... That's something else!

That explains a lot when it comes to the lack of proper JMJ (re-)releases.

Luckily PSB, Depeche Mode and even Vangelis (I mean, the 2013 Spiral remaster is what it is, but at least it's got To The Unknown Man pt. 2 as an extra track) are doing it (more) properly. Especially PSB.

Oh yeah, as PSB fans we've been spoiled to death with their (unreleased) back catalogue. Even some of their never-released tracks are bloody fantastic. Dancing in the Dusk for example is a beautiful track.
Even track they haven't bothered to re-record or release in demo form ("Bubadubadubadum" and "Oh my") are top quality.
