Hello,

I'd be interested in finding the Concert pour la Tolérance photobook. Anyone have any idea what a reasonable price for it would be? I recently saw a copy for $850... A bit much...

Also how nice are the books:

Aero
Jarre à Pékin
Live in Gdansk
Water for Life

?

By "nice" I mean the quality of the photos, book layout and additional information, not necessarily subjective favorites. For example I have books La Défense and Europe in Concert. While my favorite book overall is PLD (maybe because it was my first book and I was there :-) I think EiC contains nicer pictures. If anyone can compare the 4 books above with those two "objectively" that would be great. Of course I'd be interested in your personal opinion as well :-)

Thanks!

The Tolerance photobook is great - it contains sketches too. It might be my favorite.
Water for Life is very good too. The Acropolis photobook is beautifully designed but very rare.

There's also a Lyon photobook, containing 10 or so photos. Very rare and expensive.

That photobook Lyon, is that that thin black one titled, 'Concert Pour le Pape' with photos by Francois Hornus?

I have two of those and can not imagine that those are rare or expensive.

It is. I've seen one sell on ebay for over 100 euros once.

O, thanks. I bought one at the time for 10 euros. The other one I got for free.
They are in storage somewhere. As soon as I find them I will sell them to people that really enjoy having them.

I have the PLD and the EIC photo books. They're pretty nice (and the PLD book is damn nice one to put on top of a shelf ;) ) but the photos on this site are much better IMO http://www.deselliers.info/en/photos/je ... /index.htm

Hi everyone,

I have just found a used copy of the Concert for Tolerance photobook. It's in good overall condition but unfortunately it's missing one sheet... Just curious, would anyone who owns the book care to tell me what's on that page?

It's a sheet of tracing paper, #19-20, so I suppose it has only a sketch on page #19 for page #21, which shows two half-faces side by side.

Thank you very much! And thanks again Dr_Jones for your recommendation :-)
