As it's July 2015, this is my 25th Anniversary tribute :)

based on a reworking of a MIDI arrangement that I created several years back.

Very good work! I once tried emulating the PLD version myself, but since I never got the drums to sound right (probably impossible without a real drummer with a great drumkit), I just gave up.

Hooray for the PLD 25th Anniversary!

I really like the "La Defense" version. Sadly enough the video-version is edited. Your version bring me back to this excellent version. Although there are lot of differences in it, but I like it. :)

Your version is not bad at all! Only, like you say, the drums don't sound so right.

Cheers, man. ;)

Man, I remember hearing the radio broadcast version for the first time and I actually got the chills at the part where the video version cuts to when the robot comes on the stage. I doubt many of the 2.5 million people even saw it live (aside from those near the TV screens) ;)

Of course, Oxygene 4 was followed by Equinoxe 4 at the concert.

This is my attempt at a cover of Equinoxe 4

Ok, not quite so inspired by the concert version this time!

Excellent work, regardless. :]

Yet it gave me an idea, perhaps I should try come up with some kind of a PLD medley for the occasion... hmm. ;) [Edit: Here we go]

Many thanks :)

I love this - especially the Calypso end part. It reminds me a little of a Jarre Medley that Francis Rimbert did in the early 1990s. :)

Anyway, after Equinoxe Part 4 came Part 5, which was sadly overlooked on the official video (possibly in favour of Souvenir of China!!!!!). This is my attempt at a cover version loosely inspired by that concert arrangement...

Yes, I tried to emulate Francis Rimbert's medley a bit with that one. ;] Updated the song in the link with a different one.

Great stuff, once again! Looking forward to Souvenir de Chine. ;)

Skipping Souvenir of China for the moment, here's my attempt at a cover of Magnetic Fields Part 2.

Again, not really that PLD-like!
