! December 10th is Human Rights Day !

December 10th 1948 is the day that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the UN General Assembly.
The Declaration marked a milestone in the history of human rights: For the first time, it laid out fundamental human rights for all, to be universally protected. Today, the Declaration remains as relevant as ever.

I am proud to take part of the campaign to mark the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that will be launched on Human Rights Day, December 10th this year, organized by The United Nations.

La Déclaration Universelle des Droits de l'Homme fut adoptée par l'Assemblée Générale des Nations Unies le 10 décembre 1948 et marque un moment important dans l'histoire des droits de l'Homme, listant pour la première fois les droits fondamentaux et universels. Aujourd'hui plus que jamais la déclaration reste pertinente et d'actualité.

Je suis fier de prendre part à la campagne organisée par les Nations Unies, le 10 décembre prochain à l'occasion de l'anniversaire de la Déclaration des Droits de l'Homme.
