Very excited to be part of the ELECTRO EPXO at the Philharmonic in Paris starting next week (9.April- 11. August). The Expo showcases the history of Electronic music for which many of my fellow companions and I have sourced materials that meant something for us on the journey to put on display. I have set up my imaginary studio this week, even including a tiny laser harp. If you are in town, please come and visit.
Très heureux de faire partie de l’exposition ELECTRO à la Philharmonie de Paris à partir de la semaine prochaine (du 9 avril au 11 août). Cette exposition présente l’histoire de la musique électronique pour laquelle nombre de mes collègues et moi-même avons fournis des instrumentsl qui ont compté pour nous pendant ce voyage. J’y ai installé mon studio imaginaire cette semaine, incluant même une réplique de la harpe laser. Si vous êtes en ville, ne ratez pas cet évènement.

Tonight there will be a lot of technology and dreams with our guest Jean-Michel JARRE, at the center of various news like the Inasound festival ( 20-21 April 2019 at Palais Brongniard in Paris.) And the Great ELECTRO Exhibition "from Kraftwerk to Daft Punk " opens next Tuesday at the Philharmonie de Paris. Exhibition designed under the direction of Jean-Yves Leloup, with among others a soundtrack of Laurent Garnier. Jean-Michel Jarre proposes his Imaginary Studio, consisting among others of a VCS3 (1969) of the ARP 2500 (1969) designed by Alan R.Pearlman, Geiss Matrisequencer 250 (1978) and a recent piece, the Swarmatron of the Dewan brothers (2010).

An electro exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris
Electro music, a mix of disco, house and techno, was born in the late 1980s in the United States. An immersive exhibition, sensory and in the form of contemporary art, is dedicated to him at the Philharmonie de Paris until August 11, 2019. The installations were created by artists but also by DJs of the moment, including Daft Punk and Jean-Michel Jarre.
On the occasion of the opening at the Philharmonie in Paris of a major exhibition on electronic music, also called electro, France 3 has returned to the origins of this musical movement, in which French artists have always occupied a place of choice.
