Design Museum To Open Electronic Music Exhibition - 1 April 2020 - 26 July 2020

London's Design Museum has announced a new exhibition centred around international club culture.

Kraftwerk's 3D experience will form part of the exhibition, alongside other installations, while Jeff Mills, Ellen Allien, Jean-Michel Jarre and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop will all also contribute.

Curators will take viewers through key moments in the exhibition, and there will be exclusive interviews with Jean-Michel Jarre, Shiva Feshareki, Alan Oldham, and A Guy Called Gerald.

After Paris and London, the French exhibition Electro: From Kraftwerk to Daft Punk will move again, but this time to the Kunstpalast Museum in Düsseldorf, Germany from December 9, 2021 to May 15, 2022. As for London, the exhibition will undergo changes and evolutions starting with its name: Electro: From Kraftwerk to Techno.

Electro - techno to power plant - Dusseldorf

The current exhibition with a few synths and exhibits from the techno to electro corner, curated from Paris, therefore with a strong French influence (Jarre, Schaeffer, Laurent Garnier, Jarre etc.)
