Kunstpalast: Electro. From power plant to techno (9.12.21 - 15.5.22)
From 9 December 2021 to 15 May 2022, the Kunstpalast Museum will present its first major exhibition on the subject of music.
The following musicians, designers and artists are represented in the exhibition: 1024 Architecture, Agnes Dahan, Laurent Garnier, Andreas Gursky, Jean-Michel Jarre, Jacob Khrist, Kraftwerk, Mouse on Mars, Tina Paul, Bruno Peinado, Soundwalk Collective, Marie Staggat-Bazille, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Tiggy Thorn, Gisèle Vienne and Sasha Waltz
For the first time a museum in Germany is presenting the over 100-year history of electronic music and its connections to art in such a comprehensive way. In over 500 exhibits, some of which are interactive, the musical styles bundled under the term "electronic music" are highlighted from multiple perspectives.
