Sorry if it is already discussed over here but I couldn’t find a topic of it.
I was wondering why are not all of Jarre his albums on the streaming services.
Is this a choice of his record label or a personal choice of Jarre which albums are streamable or not?

I believe Teo & Tea has been disowned by Jarre which is a shame in a way as I did like the track Vintage.
Jarremix never really got released outside France if I remember correctly even then I don't think it was available for long (maybe a year or two). But half of that album was made up of remixes of Chronologie 4 and 6 anyway.
No idea why the other albums are not available but I would also like to know why the Japan only Electronic Night 98 is not available as well.

I guess some of it are right issues and some are just.. Well, live albums and compilation albums are not really on the priority list, I think. A shame, because Bourges is very unique and very hard to find nowadays and Hong Kong is pretty good too.

Live albums on streaming are a bit of a problem anyway because of the gaps between the tracks.

Yeah! The Paris 98 CD was pretty good too. It even turned Together Now into a good track.

Rendez-Vous is also (still) missing without a reason given. Presumably it's all down to rights issues in one way or another.
Téo & Téa might have been disowned, but Vintage has since been played more than once live (which unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of to hear). And Melancholic Rodeo has been used as the title of the biography. So have my doubts it's a personal issue as much as, again presumably, a rights issue.
Forever annoyed that Live Printemps De Bourges isn't officially available and that The Visitors concert has never been released. Those two are fucking banger concerts.

I can't remember if T&T was one of them, but Hong Kong and Images definitely used to be on Spotify (around 2011), so they've definitely been removed due to rights reasons since I think Images was already gone way before Planet Jarre in 2018.

Due to still having some of my playlists from the era, I managed to find the album links to Images and Cities in Concert on Spotify. The tracks "still available" actually redirect to other versions, which is still bizarre (and also annoying because at one point the Docklands album, despite being the 2014 remaster otherwise, for some reason went to the Planet Jarre version of Oxygene 4 whenever you tried to play the Docklands one)

The whole rights issue is so confusing... JMJ sold all the rights to BMG which should mean everything is now owned by BMG.

The gaps issue would also apply to Odyssey Though O2 since that was a DJ Mix album.
I did wonder if Warner was a issue for some of those albums but then again Geometry Of Love got released so maybe not.
Also curious if Gerard Lenorman songs La Belle et La Bete and La Mort de Cygne being the reasons for Rendez-Vous album being pulled but then again why has it happened now and years ago. I admit that I have no idea and am only guessing what the reasons could be.

I didnt know he did sold his music rights maybe that explains a lot

That is probably why JMJ's cover of Popcorn (1972) got re-released last year.

Still waiting for similar releases, give me that Helza/Cartolina digital master!

Teo & Tea wasn't disowned. Everyone remembers what he said right after that huge backlash, he had enough problems at the time, but come on, he did play some of the tracks from that albums in the following years, you don't do that with an album you disowned:
