Jean-Michel Jarre will be the exceptional guest of "Culture en prime"
This Friday, just after 7:30 p.m., François De Brigode will receive a living legend: Jean-Michel Jarre. The electro pioneer who sold more than 85 million albums had not come to our home since 2016. But he returns in force with a grandiose concert, on July 1st on the Place des Palais, as part of the Brussels Palace Open Air that will make the heart of the capital vibrate. The artist is also at the origin of the soundtrack of the Amazônia exhibition to be seen from April 4 at Tour & Taxis in Brussels.
It was in 1976 that Jean-Michel Jarre revolutionized music with Oxygène, an album that became cult. 2 years later, Equinoxe confirmed his talent and taste for innovation. He always wanted to go off the beaten track and imagine concerts out of the ordinary. Result? Gigantic shows that ignited mythical places in the 4 corners of the globe: the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Place de la Concorde and closer to us, the Atomium, where it gathered nearly 70,000 spectators in 1993.
From this Friday, discover the unpublished soundtrack by Jean-Michel Jarre at the heart of the Amazônia exhibition at Tour & Taxis in Brussels. A unique sound immersion where striking shots resonate with the sounds of the Amazon rainforest: rustling of trees, cries of animals, singing of birds and roaring waters.
This Friday, immerse yourself in the cultural universe of Jean-Michel Jarre around 8:00 p.m. on La Une and Auvio.
