The STS-116 Discovery launch replay is all over youtube.
They have opened the payload bay doors on the shuttle and checking with their cameras that the robotic arm and other equipments are in good shape after the launch. After that the heat shield inspections will begin.
According to the press conferance with the launching crew they have had one of their best launches. Not even the smallest malfunction or error alert wich is guite unusual. Right now Disvovery is doing its "space ballet" around the earth and
the STS-116 crew is waiting to start a "rendez-vous" with the ISS tomorrow night at 11-"something" pm.

What happened to the winner of "Den Store Mission"? He was supposed to be the first dane in the space. That was some years ago now.

It was nor really a spaceprogram, just some people from around the world who had won or got the opportunity to get a short space trip in an airplane-like space shuttle. They started out with many people everytime untill there was just a few left, who were going to Houston to learn and train how to become an atsronaut and win the trip out in the space with this shuttle.

I haven't watched much news recently, cos it's nothing but death and destruction. :(

So what is that DASA about?

DASA doesn't excist. Every Christmas several TV series are shown like a countdown to 24 December. I don't know whether this excists in other countries. The dictionary said Advent calendar.
Damn I can't explane what it is... Anyway, it's some kind of a comedy serie about some danish astronauts who are working on a spacestation in December. Just as a bad joke, they changed NASA to DASA.
