Why not starting a topic about this? :)

I might merge this with the 2025 tour if it's the same setup

"He said maybe 5 or 6 concert like this summer tour and a big tour for the beginning of 2027"

Recently; from a fan attended in Samarkand.

Maybe he will release a new album in the second half of 2026 and go on tour in 2027. It's been over 3 years since Oxymore, and in recent years JMJ hasn't had very long breaks between albums. I hope this trend continues.

In any case, first (summer?) dates may come up; not the way the '25 dates released almost at last minute...

Moby is scheduled for the festival a few days earlier - won't happen, of course, but wouldn't it be nice to have him onstage with JMJ performing Suns Have Gone? It's a nice tune and would be a change from the usual Electronica tracks played at shows.

So, here we go. We'll be checking off cities on the list for 2026.

This appears to be shaping up to be a re-run of the Tour 2025, with a series of appearances on the European festival circuit. Which means JMJ fitting his show design into existing structures and playing the same stage that the night before hosted somebody else.

I don’t really mind this, and it can work. Venice was when it worked well; Brussels when it worked less well. Uzbekistan was essentially the same but because it was designed to be more bespoke to the surrounding environment, it worked much better.

But another festival tour feels like too much of what we’ve already seen and too much of a compromise. And with 2026 being the 50th anniversary of Oxygene, I was hoping for something else, really.

Too bad there's no Glastonbury next year.

Hopefully Jean Michel Jarre will play in the Netherlands at Royal Park Festival in Soestdijk. Located in the royal palace gardens. That would be a great location

As for stage design, I don't mind if this remains. I'm more fascinated if visuals will change, or even more the setlist.

Maybe Time Machine and the blue laser harp will become permanent features on this tour. AI has advanced over the past year, so there's an opportunity to update the visuals.
