(I think this fits best here)

This can be interesting for people in The Netherlands:

"Sunday february 1 in a unique performance, students from the Nieuwe Muziekschool Alphen will perform excerpts from the album Equinoxe by French composer Jean Michel Jarre. Not, as is so often the case, with the help of a computer, but live! Four people, eight hands, and minimal automation will perform Equinoxe part 3 through to 8 "

They really studied the original very well. A lot details are included in their covers and almost everything is played live!
Their complete recordings of both Oxygene & Equinoxe:

and there's more on their youtube channel:

I live nearby and I went there and it was definitely worth it!

This performance of Equinoxe 3-4-5-6-7 was part of the "Gluren bij de Buren" (Peeking at the neighbours)-festival. On this day performance artists like musicians and actors present themselves in intimate settings, most of the time in their own living rooms. This performance (they actually did three) was in the local music school.

How was the performance? Well, it was really good! Think Equinoxe Live in Your Living Room. Four musicians, 6 keyboards, some pedals and a laptop running 2600- and Eminent-emulations. Two of the 8 hands belonged to the music teacher. His students, he trained last year, did the rest They played all the leads and pads and it all sounded pretty close to the original. Everything was played live or triggered live (sequences/rhythms). There was quite some audience and they were all excited and stayed afterwards to ask questions about the machines, how everything was performed and how long it took to arrange everything.

Next year Magnetic Fields?

I was sadly not able to go. Gluren bij de buren is an event that is taken place in lot of cities in The Netherlands, there is a winter edition, which was last sunday, and there will be a summer edition, scheduled for 28th june this year. So maybe they will play Jarre music again then.
