...any relative have said about Jean Michel Jarres music that you have heard him/her saying to you?

My must be when I was watching some DVD with Jarre in my room when I was living with my parents. My mom was watching Text-TV and turned around saying to me: That man is really an artist. He know about music!

Most of the people I try to get into JMJ, have to say his concerts are awesome and unequalled by any artist in the world. Not all of them like the music though, but that's a matter of taste, I guess... :)

A woman at work once said: “Jarre... isn't that the guy with that wild music?”.

Hahaha! *sigh*

No one ever said anything nice, as far as I can remember.

Well, technically my dad got me into his music but I have never heard him really praising him and stuff. Especially not around the 2000's :P

I remember my mom saying she liked Souvenir of China when we were playing Trivial Pursuit or something and Aero concert was on TV.

One of my work colleagues saw the areo CD cover and said he certainly has scary eyes.

One member of my family mentioned that JMJ really knows how to make you love him and his music. At the time we were watching Space of Freedom concert and JMJ was saying to the audience we love you :!: :!:

My aunt has known Jarre's music as something very beatiful since the Oxygene album (It was her son that introduced me into the "Jean Michel world".). When I was at the beginning of my teen age she looked at the back of the Oxygene cover (Jarre with a grey jacket, sitting) and she said: "He's really handsome." ...and then she said: "Did you know that he is the one that made Popcorn?"

In the more recent past my mother happen to be in my apartment and I started to play the Jarre In China DVD, just to check out the reaction.
First: "What has happen to his hair...he looks like Robert Wells" (a swedish pianist).
And then Oxygen IV: "Ohh I like that one. How much funny little sounds there is everywhere...that's strange...why is he keeps picking at everything. He's so meddlesome..." etc. etc.

A few years ago says someone (a woman) at work: "Jean Michel Jarre is that guy with the very cool laser harp and the great concerts, he made Oxygene and Equinoxe". :D 8)

Yeah, that's exactly what my mother said after Space Of Freedom concert (it was in fact more about the person himself, than about the music).
