Slovakian abuse against Hungarian

I really don't understand slovakians...generally. I don't know what is there. is Slovakia extremeright?
My sister intend to go to Slovakia within some weeks, but we say her not to go there because lot of Hungarians are attacked by that slovakians. Sorry for my sulkiness and indignation but i think its rightful!
Last week a man was attacked just because he said something in Hungarian!! The man had to been gone to hospital. Just let to know: Large part of Slovakia was part of Hungary, until World war 2nd!! So there are lot of people with native Hungarian language.
I think its because of 1968. The former communist Hungarian government conducted an offensive because Soviet Union asked us to start that attack toward Slovakia...because they saw that communism "in danger" in Slovakia...
Unfortunatelly i don't know what was that dangerous something...
