What happened to Dominique??? He was great! Was La Defense the last thing he did? It seems after La Defense and Chronologie all the original collaborators went away!

We should create a memorial for all these guys (just kidding). Seriously I hope Jarre works with them once again!

:~D

I realize this should all go under the Jarre section instead of the Albums section.

Uh, Perrier was actively on his concerts up to Oxygen in Moscow in 1997 :P

And basically Dino Lumbroso and Geiss (which had been on-stage in the 1980's) left after La Defense...

Dominique worked in a band called Stone Age and released 3 succesfull albums on the Sony label. The band also consisted of Michel Valy (bassist during the Hong Kong concert) and Patrick Rondat made a guest appearance on 2 of the albums. As far as I know the music is a bit Deep Forest/Enigma-like (still have to chase down those albums). Latest info I heard about him is that he works for RTL (radio/tv in france) :)

I hope, one fine day, Patrick Rondat will disappear like the other collaborators. :P

What do you mean? Francis Rimbert doesn't like it either?

It's the guitar. And the playing technique too. Too fast, too distorted. Or something like that.

Man - that guy rawks your sawks off :D :D

Android's quite a tight conservative when it comes to electronic music, I've noted :P

Anyhow, Perrier was neat. In fact, having a proper Jarreband with many synth players and drummers etc. instead of the current ones would be better. But one can always just dream!

Then I'll advise him to let the new album for what it is! That's more rocky!

Like the other old collaborators! :P Besides... Francis is Jarre's partner in crime. That's another matter!

I'm sure Rondat is a fine guy, but I don't like his guitar playing in Jarre's music. From what little I've heard of his own stuff, it's not my cup of tea either. It's as simple as that!

I might add I have nothing against the old collaborators. :)
