A talented musician in my opinion, works best around difficult situations. Jean Michel has proven he can lay it on like the best of them. :bravo:

I was born in the mid 70's and my earliest memories are of my Dad playing the Oxygene/Equinoxe double gatefold vinyl he'd 'borrowed' from my uncle. Then one morning in 1986 I found my Dad watching the concert he'd taped the night before on the Betamax. From that point on I've been hooked.

Jean-Michel has quite literally provided the soundtrack to my life: he's there when I need uplifting, he's there when I need serenity, he's there when I feel jubilant. I've never met the guy but, in many ways, he's been like my best friend - often I've felt that his music has understood me more then the people around me. For me he is the ultimate hero.

Now through this blog he's sharing the more private moments of his current tour with us... I feel like I'm getting to know my 'best friend' even better then I had ever before. This new, revitalised Jarre is sharing with his fans like never before.

Thank you Jean-Michel. I feel like my life long loyalty (sometimes in the face of adversity) is being rewarded by your current activities.

Long may it continue!
