Just been watching the news... If the left engine had blown, it would've veered off to the right, but, it veered off to the left instead... it's a plane thats been withdrawn from use in the US (US built plane) because of its age and that it was a little on the fuel-heavy side...... also, the plane had already aborted one take-off and was in the process of attempt number 2 when disaster struck..
153 confirmed dead and 19 survivors...
I'm no aviation nut and nor am I someone who flies, but, my sympathies right now to those 153 peoples families and I do very much hope that the survivors are given only the very best of care and support to help them through what has been really a horrific and terrifying experience that should never have happened......
