Having being bored and looked at some Jarre concert sites on Google Earth (the 3D building option is interesting at the big venues), one question has sprung to mind - how the hell did Oxygen In Moscow get a bigger audience than La Defense (an audience which went back all the way to Arc De Triomphe)???!!!
Looking at the size of venue and amount of physical land where an audience would be, the OIM venue looks like it should have an audience about the size of Concert For Tolerance, not a million more than La Defense!
In my opinion, for sheer size and spectacle, La Defense and Houston have always come across as looking the biggest, with Concert for Tolerance, Moscow, Gdansk, Lyon and Docklands looking to be on a slightly smaller scale (in that order).
In fact, in my view, Moscow and Gdansk look to be on more of a similar scale (particularly with the stage set up).
I wonder who actually counts the audience! lol
