The Ou Cafe will usually be broadcast on TV5 too. I can't find a date, though.

April 2007, also January 2000. I remember this well, because she showed footage of the Music For Supermarkets auction in that program. I recorded that from TV5, so that's why I suspect TV5 will broadcast this too (hopefully subtitled in english, dutch and any other language, TV5 does that sometimes).

I have asked four questions - now I'm waiting for 06/02/2010...

1) In 1983 you released the album "Musique pour supermarche" in a spectacular auction in Paris. For Jarre fans it's a mystery until today: How many tracks are on this unique album?

2) Have you plans for the future to release some of your early works on CD or as download - I'm thinking of "Deserted palace", "Aor", "Dorian", "Labyrinth", "Happiness is a sad song", "La Cage"... I'm often dreaming of a double album called "Early works"...

3) There is an album from Dominique Webb called "La Psychosomnie / Methode Contre L'insomnie". Rumors say that the (background)-music on this album is from you. Is it true?

4) Another dream from me: a release of the "Bourges" concert on DVD. Is there a chance?

Yes, the bootleg is divided into 8 tracks. But: is this the real number of tracks on the original album? Some people say there are only 2 tracks on it - one on side A, one on side B.

Then he speaks about how much he loves the show, and how he watches it, and how it's a good show, good for morning airings, good for evening/night airings - for his part, he watches it at night, mostly. He likes the fact that he can feel very much at ease in the show.

"What was the most touching moment of the show?"

He confesses that the most touching moment was the part about the disaster in Haiti. He is, however, happy to see real, true solidarity, innocent solidarity as he calls it; to see people actually going out to rescue other human beings, with no other sense but genuinely caring. He says that lately, we've been polluted by a lot of "show-solidarity", which he finds obscene - the kind of thing you see on TV quite a lot - artificial solidarity. And he is glad to see some genuine human feeling in this situation, especially since it is such a big tragedy going on.

Then he says "Thank you! Goodbye!"

Speaking of Haiti and charity...Jarre really hates that :-)

I think it was in an interview in a dutch tv guide, in which Jarre answered "charity business" to the question "what do you hate?".

I also remember some rumour about people asking Jarre to participate in some big all-star charity concert. This was in the late 80s/early 90s, I can't remember... But I do remember that Jarre refused to participate :-)
