The Martian
It's a very nice movie. I loved every 142 minutes of it and I even watched it in 3D.
Hollywood seems to have found their two new science fiction actors in Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain which are previously known from Interstellar.
Think about Gravity and throw in some Cast Away and Apollo 13 and there you pretty much have The Martian.
It's funny how things comes together in Hollywood. I though about the movie Saving Private Ryan where a rescue team is looking for private Ryan and who plays this Ryan?
Yes Matt Damon. And again a rescue team has to save him only this time on the planet Mars.
Lovely stuff with no sex scenes, cheeky quirky comments, science the shit out of it and Nasa propaganda all over. What a relief if you ask me.

It's a pity the score for this movie is a bit subdued. Instead they choosed early 80's 'greatest hits' and really cranked it up.
I'm not a big fan of having everything drowned in newly composed music specifically for a certain movie but this was on the thin side. The little you hear is great but I think it should've deserved more space.
(Not to be a spoiler but as some scientists pointed out; the sky on Mars is bluish, not red.)
