Dear Pierre!
First of all, I wish you Happy new year! Hope you were having party time on day of Saint-Sylvestre and you are so well!
New year, new times, new days.
May I say some things about 2012 and jean Michel, as well.
2012, at the beginning, seemed to be a exciting year. We could hear about plans for 2 album releases, none of them were unfortunately released as of yet. We could also hear about Perth project, but I know this is ultimately (?) up to promoters and sponsorship. One just can not do anything if there is no fund for such a concert project. The recent Perth situation is understandable and we hope it will happen in 2014, then.
In my opinion, albums release, well it's an other matter. It's a thing the musician is composing and completing the music. That's fine. But...recently, cristalised Lalique and other luxury Jarre Technologies products (from which an average fan can't afford to buy!) seemed way more important for Jarre!!! This is kinda sad, that he does not even care of people who have had bought his concert tickets and albums! We, fans, are the least important by now. There was no even a "Happy new year" from Jean Michel personally! No facebook, no Jarreblog...
I believe the London business takes much time, but I question, is it really big effort for Jean Michel to say Hello for us?
The communication, which is, I think, important for JM also on any level, fails to reach fans! And this is below critcs, sorry.
I support JMJ's academy ambitions set up in London. This is nice initiative.
Musicians, actors, etc doing these kind of things, so changing profile more or less, when they have no inspirations in their original activity usually. I hope JMJ did not loose his inspiations composing records and he has many things to tell us in the language of music! We are now looking forward to hear pieces, I can assure you!!!
Hope the comunication will be imporiving a bit from now...and don't think about big things always : a studio photo, a short message. This is not big request I think.
Thank you for reading Pierre and let's continue adventures in the field of music and concerts and projects.
And : more "hello" from jean Michel!
Thank you again!
Robert
