Yes, I could guess too. That would make sense from marketing. He will generate many new (younger ?) fans by working together with other wellknown artists of the whole Electronik Scene, and then will sell his "own" great new studio album. I hope so too !!!

I'm just guessing, but double CD might just mean all the individual tracks on CD1, and the continuous mix on CD2. All I can think of right now is a CD and a double disc vinyl album in the Fan Boxes. However there is stated to become a following second part in there too of which we don't really know yet, or do we?Actually that makes a lot of sense to me. ) that the second disc will come in 2016. The digipack version of the first disc will be something special where you can put this second disc inside. And it depends on wether other artists want to work with JMJ or not. Talking about Moog I believe Jean-Jacques Perrey is still alive at 86 yo and Gershon Kingsley at 92 yo.
