Considering its Swedish.........Naf all of it is actually made in Sweden!!
the only good thing about Ikea is there deli store with all the swedish confectionary......
Apart from the food store inside I avoid that Store like the Plague.....Anyone would think its stylish furniture...its all wobbly chipboard and cheap Veener...
Besides its a great shop for watching all those Matcho Blokes walk round with a Yellow handbag....I often wonder how many men actually go just for this sole reason alone!!!!!
Its the only place they can look Camp with a Handbag and not feel out of place seeing as other Blokes are doing it.....Makes me laugh...
the only useful bit of furniture i bought from there was the Jerker Computer desk,with its add on bit makes a great workstation for Music applications,but even that has been binned now i built my own furniture workstation...
IKEA are one of those stores who make you THINK and BELEIVE you need all those cheap pots and pans,or glasses that you store in the cupboard for years and never actually use,but you still think you desperatly need them when you see them in the shop!!!!!and always buy more the next time you go!!!
the last time i went to IKEA i wore my Swedish Football top (amongst many other Football tops i have(not on purpose just coincidently)i kept asking the girl on the till if we could get a discount seeing as I was supporting Swedish culture...."This is Nottingham sir not Scandinavia" so much for support of there Swedish Employers!!!
Someone also mentioned in another thread that the Instructions were crap....Lets face it if you need to read the Instructions to put anything bought from IKEA together you may as well throw the Damn item in the bin....the only screw missing in that package would be one of your own...
Stevie Wonder could put an IKEA Flatpack together!!!!
