Ha, no problem at all, myself. I bought the Planet Jarre box with the two CDs and cassettes myself too. But compared to DVDs, but it's an outdated format.

Wait, what? There's more Amazonia music?

Blimey, I meant Electronica, I must hae automatically written Amazonia, because I was complaining about Sony not releasing a Deluze Edition with binaural and surround in it on physical discs...

We're living in an age where people buy cassettes...
Or vinyls :P
Or high-res (44+/16+) audio :>

Same for me, but because I wanted the 5.1 mixes, I've never even touched the cassettes. I'm so confused why this is a thing these days.

In defense of vinyl, often it's the best source because there's a physical limit to how loud music can be and they have to keep this in mind. Now a well mastered CD will beat the vinyl, but that's the problem, CD's are barely mastered properly these days. Recently decided to get vinyl rips of the later Enigma albums, those CD's are loud and clipped to death. 'Cross of Change' and 'Le Roi Ist Mort, Vive Le Roi!' were really on that border, but anything after that is way too loud and those vinyl releases fix these issues up wonderfully.

Yeah, if they started releasing vinyl masters as WAV files (proper ones, not like 8khz mono :p), it'd all be all good all (or for most of) the time 8)

Case in point: Roger Waters' LP re-release of The Wall - Live in Berlin last year (or was it in 2019), the WAV downloads for that one seemed to be the properly remastered audio files that were later on etched onto the vinyls.

Then again, my hearing has been off for years now so who knows ;)

When talking about gramophone records the word "vinyl" doesn'r have a plural with "s", the plural is just "vinyl", however the plural "vinyls" is a valid form, but only when talking about different vinyl-type polymere materials, not records.

Of all the performances to choose from, this is what he picks for an Electronica film release? It’s one of the shittest ‘concerts’ he’s ever done, I can’t even believe that it got an audio release tbh.

It gained some press attention due to the VR aspect and I guess he's using that momentum
