@jeanmicheljarre presents its new album Oxymore to us in the Happy Hour FG: "It took me 6 weeks to create it, it's the most special album of my career... I did feel recording in using noises from the street, from the body, from everyday life, I really had fun”

So, the Brian Eno remix (or Extension) of Epica this friday."When I started EPICA, I immediately thought that @brianeno
could be involved in this most rhythmic track of the album, thinking that he could bring his signature « ambient » touch in reworking the track - another kind of Oxymoron. But he told me that he was most interested in developing rhythmic ideas these days…and here is the beautiful, ghostly, unexpected result. Thank you Brian. » JMJ
Thanks for the more detailed cover art. Agreed, this remix is disappointing. I was expecting something longer and more textured. It's too short, like a "radio edit" - it can't go anywhere interesting in such a short time.nexxxus wrote: Fri Nov 18, 2022 12:19 pm About this mix, I'm finally disappointed because it seems "impersonal" to me.
For me, a mix by an artist of a piece by another artist must both reinterpret the piece with the sensitivity of the mixer while respecting the original... but here I don't recognize anything from Brian Eno, this ethereal side , quiet (except at the beginning). But the rhythmic which settles down then amounts to returning to the original without adding anything more.
Otherwise, at approximately 2 minutes 52 seconds, do you hear a cracking sound which to me seems inappropriate?
