I agree, it’s the best I’ve seen for a LONG time. Certainly the best since his shows have been streamed live. It’s a long way from the awful cinematography of his Santiago de Compostella show (I hated the sea-sickness inducing wavy camera movements)

I must say that this show has already smashed my expectations of what it was going to be like/how good it was going to be. It’s spectacular so far!

Completely forgot this was a thing and just tuned in, oh well...

The acknowledgement of the laser harp occasionally being difficult got a chuckle out of me

Jean Paul Jarre... Oh sweet heavens, he's probably embarrassed out of his mind at that moment

22-11-16: Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam

Can’t believe Brian May just said ‘Jean-Paul Jarre!’ In front of all of those people haha. How embarrassing, you could see Jean-Michel correct him 😂

Some of it made my eyes moist fireworks building lit up with projections lasers was like going back in time.

I so hope JMJ performs this way from now on.

So many memorable moments. Rendezvous 2 was stunning. Oxygene 4 amazing version would never occured to me to make it so brilliant.

Rendevous 4 should had Brian May solo.

The EDM tracks are so lightweight not having emotional impact. Only Stardust and Time Machine should be kept imo the rest EDM discarded.
Replaced by classic tracks which are deep have emotional impact.

Concert was fantastic. Shocked that they dropped Oxygene 8, they played it yesterday.
We had brilliant places right behind the VIPs. Lots of space before us.

Zero Gravity worked brilliant in such a setting. These tracks work in open air, not in such Versailles ish environments.

Will post some photos later.

Very nice concert. 👍 Musically mostly pre-recorded with some extra added stuffs.
Visually stunning with the drones formation as an extra nice touch.
I think "Jean Paul" was just a joke from Brian's behalf regarding to the pope...just a thought 🤭

Hopefully, I have a TV5 recording at home, but I'm still in Bratislava for a few days.

Great visuals, maybe more from the space area would have been even greater. The May touch is really taking us in other places… The way Rendez-vous II was re-arranged in some unique way proves once again what a classic it is…
I wish he had worked more on RDV4 which he looked bored to perform. I can't see Falling down fitting in.

I'm speaking to a lot of friends who watched it on youtube and they are really enthusiastic about this concert. Some of them were burned out on JMJ and one is now planning to go to La Rochelle (if it's not sold out...). That means that the director of the concert did a great job! I've not seen it yet, but I saw some small snippets and the use of long shots was great to see.
