The drones were a fantastic addition to the concert, it worked so well. And the fireworks! It was as if the fireworks tried to shoot all the drones from the air for stealing their thunder.

I was looking around and I saw some people who brought their children, some who probably never been to a concert. The look on some people's faces who were in awe, that was really beautiful to see.

The director did great job, indeed!
He really should throw Web Spinner into the Seine, I can't stand that piece, however I'm OK with Falling Down.

He could also replace Zero Gravity and Exit to Oxygene 8 and an Equinoxe Infinity track.

Overall, it was a real and great extravaganza!
Adiescar was able to put her touch and really hope she stays in the team for long time, on tour and in studio alike!

Still visualising the fireworks the building lit up with lasers lights projections.
It's like I'm a kid teen again. Making my eyes moist writing this.

Is this JMJ's preparation for Glastonbury.
Glastonbury has their own Pyramid stage is the big one, still JMJ's team would construct a stage just for JMJ.

Rendv4 with Brian May would been amazing opportunity missed imo.

I think this is the first time since Lyon* when the orchestral instruments have been as audible/present as they were last night. Not to mention a more 1990s-like countdown at the start - and loads of PLD points for Equinoxe characters being projected at buildings. Gorgeous!

(Also, arriving at the stage in the flying car would have been kinda funny, though, but unfeasible ;))

* = (the radio broadcast sounds like as if it was recorded right next to them)

The orchestra, the deep brass sounds and especially the choir were really really good at RV2.

Also: well done to JMJ and the crew. They had a month to pull this off and they did it wonderfully well.

I know it's a long shot, but does anybody know the brand of JMJ's jacket that he was wearing last night? Thanks in advance.

The fireworks in the Opening were a great surprise. Even bigger if you saw the dress rehearsals. Unfortunately they completely butchered the camera angles in the live stream - the camera cuts to them when they are already fading away. The "wow" factor is completely gone and I so wanted to be able to relive it.

And I need to get this out of my system: WTF was the deal with the laser harp?

1. it was not live this time (usually is!) and you can clearly see that in 1:48:06 - 08 (mistakes low and high notes), 1:50:03 - two different notes (G and A♭) on the same beam. I guess he was trying to play it (sic) safe.
2. why was he wearing those headphones?!
3. when the trio with May and Chase begins JMJ is playing the laser harp one quarter note too early until the end of the song - visible around 1:50:43. And the worse part is that it was like that during the rehearsals! Nobody from the team noticed that? That was the biggest WTF of the show for me.
4. the harp is not even audible during the trio (e.g. 1:51:47). It was very evident when he did a glissando at the very end and it produced no sound.

All very very weird.

And yeah, the projections of Snowden's speech had bloody TYPOS in it! "BECOSE" instead of "BECAUSE" and "THAN" instead of "THEN" (the latter can actually be seen on the stream)

Google Lens app. Nearest is Stone Island jacket but it doesn't have the button on the left sleeve.

Certainly the best concert of his for seen for a long time.
Stardust was amazing, as was the Second-Rendez-Vous.
Still far too much techno for me though, and messing around with classic tracks to make them more update.

But still the best Jean-Paul Jarre concert for ages! :)

Fun fact: Much Guitar bands don't get as long guitar solos as for Brian May's suite!

There's nobody on JMJ's team that tells him things as this. It's as if they are scared because JMJ is a legend. JMJ could really do with someone telling him then show could be the best it can be.

"It's probably one of the most challenging things I've taken on for a long time": Brian May pushed himself to the limit for his Jean-Michel Jarre live collaboration, and it paid off big time
