I just listened to it. It sounds like it was done within an hour. Completely unpolished.

* The volume of songs in the medley is all over the place. The verse of the first piece is shortened in a very weird, non-musical way.
* The extra cinematic drums added in one of the pieces sound like they were completely improvised without any further editing (they are frequently out of sync) and they don't sit in a mix at all.
* The harp opening sound effect just cuts off. Drums are way too loud, the ending doesn't seem to have any build-up and no power itself - sounds like all other instruments are at 10% of their volume.

Honestly I can't believe what I'm hearing. I can only hope this was a preliminary version that was not supposed to be published...

Well there is still a chance that live version might be good and interesting, I am also a bit worried about transitions between songs in live version tonight. If they manage to make it alright, it could sound nice when comparing to the lack of effort in official release...

this seems to be an exclusive for Apple music, I can't find this release on other platforms like Qobuz (for now anyway).
maybe Jarre and/or Sony anticipated a certain buzz about the ceremony and created this release, why not but I find it a bit weird to release a so-called live that hasn't happened yet.
Maybe later a new version with the reactions of the public

For those watching on Channel 4 in the UK it's split into 2 parts.
Part 1 from 18.30 to 20.30, and part 2 from 20.30 to 21.30, so guessing the musical part will be 20.30 to 21.30 ?

Please note the French time broadcast is from 8:20 p.m. until 11:47 p.m. on France 2 TV, the ceremony starting at 8:30 p.m.
The final concert could be broadcast from 10 p.m.
