Metal band The Great Old Ones will release their album Kadeth in january and it will feature an 11 minute bonus track: Second Rendez-Vous.
A preview of the album on soundcloud will give you an impression of what kind of genre this track will be. Sadly, we cannot hear their Second Rendez-Vous version yet. I'm really curious to hear it.

It's not clear to me if the track will be available on the regular editions of the album or only on the deluxe CD and vinyl. I think it is on the deluxe editions only, since the fnac states 7 tracks on the album.
[edit] Only the limited CD and LP editions feature the track.

Waiting for the CD to arrive (haven't heard anything about the album being shipped), but Bandcamp allows me to download the album already. I'm listening to their Second Rendez-Vous. It's very heavy metal, so be prepared for that. Other than that, they're pretty faithful to the original track in terms of the structure of the song.

The laser harp part sounds fantastic, really what you would expect from a metal version.

Go hammer and tongs on it.
Utterly brilliant part from of all of JMJ's whole music compositions.

This is brilliant! :D Sounds like it was meant to be a heavy guitar piece in the first place

It does, doesn't it? I'm really surprised how well the laserharp part works.
