I think it was during Epica. Brutalism had the same laser show as last year.

Almost all the reviews for the JMJ concert in Athens were very positive, as were the comments from those who were at the concert.
Of course, there will always be a nag in the crowd! As a popular site wrote (which many forum members would probably agree with it!!), it was disappointed because JARRE should not have evolved but remained in the same oxygene and equinoxe style.......
My personal opinion is to go to the concert with good intentions and you will definitely have a good time!! That's what I did and probably the same was done by most of the people who went to the concert on Monday.

Love all these transitions, in particular the Ethnicolor-Zoolookologie transition.
In this instance, not only was the musical arrangement thrilling, there was some really intriguing on-stage choreography. I recall JMJ stalking around the stage with his LAG portable synth, while Christine Durand was delivering those eery vocals into a weird looking funnel device. All the while, the skyscraper towers are gradually shifting colour.
JMJ moved around the stage, with a sort of cautious stealth, eventually ending up alongside Christine, both of them with their backs to the audience. It's quite amazing to watch.
Then Zoolookologie kicks in, and he breaks character as it were, and moves away.
The visual and musical links between the huge scale of the wider concert scenography and these human-scale stage movements was a truly creative moment, within this landmark performance.

Well said. I’ve noticed the same thing myself. When I’m analyzing a concert by checking the setlist, watching clips and photos on social media, or discussing it on forums, I’m way more critical. I pick up on even the smallest mistakes and find myself wishing things were done differently.
But when I’m actually there, live in front of the stage, everything changes. The positive vibes take over, I just want to dance and sing along, and I completely let loose. I don’t mind the repetitive setlist, the playback, the lack of other musicians on stage, and so on. I just have a great time. And it’s not just Jarre’s concerts where I feel this way.
I realize that, in a way, I might be part of the problem. If I keep enjoying the gigs, Jarre has no real motivation to change anything. Still, having fun at the show doesn't stop me from pointing out what I think could be done differently, or what used to be done better back in the day.
Fantastic video. It really looks like Kvant is doing a way better job with the promo and tour recaps than Jarre's own team. Aero Prod seems to be asleep at the wheel. JMJ should honestly just hire Kvant's marketing people full-time.

Spot on! You’ve perfectly captured what made that era so magical. That Ethnicolor to Zoolookologie transition is absolute gold, and it's a prime example of what we’ve been missing in recent years.
Jarre used to move around the stage so much back then. I mean, just look at Equinoxe 4 from that same gig, where he was constantly pacing around, weaving in and out between the other musicians. The entire stage felt so much more "kinetic". There was always something happening, a real sense of dynamic energy. Nowadays, he mostly just stands by himself right in the center. I understand he's not exactly a youngster anymore, but still.
When Zoolookologie finally kicks in and he bursts into that high energy mode, the release is incredible. Those seamless, creative links are exactly why Paris La Defense remains such a landmark. It really makes you wish he would bring back that kind of deliberate, artistic pacing and stage energy to his current live sets instead of just jumping from track to track.

In Radom it was the similar b&w t-shirt just without "Special Summer Tour" on the front and nothing on the back. There were also the caps and the t-shirts that were available on his website: Oxymore, Versailles and Ancestors (the two robots image). Bought the last one

I'd say, this tour has been the "most live" one compared to the last year's I really loved the little improvisations / noodlings here and there. Especially the one on Zero Gravity is actually pretty decent! Yes he's not a really good keyboard player etc. but it's still nice
He also has an oscillator module from SynTesla (the designers of Hans Zimmer's modular wall) right next to the PS3300, and seems like there's an expression pedal connected? I wonder how that works?
