Back from Toulouse, what a concert, great sound, great crowd, lots of energy, everything just clicked to make it an amazing experience. The semi-open air setup was interesting, got a place quite near the front which put me right into the visual experience. The sound system was also exquisite, one of the best I’ve heard at any concert/festival. It’s interesting to see how the tour has evolved from last year. Loved “the opening” as it’s a personal favourite, and visually it’s a full-on assault on the senses, great way to open the show. I really got all absorbed into the concert, probably also thanks to the energetic crowd all around. I also really enjoyed the second part of exit, with Jean-Michel almost diabolically getting the energy/flow back up again, can’t remember if it was like that last year, but it “worked” much better this time, as it put a new spin on a track we’ve heard a lot before

. Overall it seemed the show has been honed so that it flows really nicely. I do wonder if this concept is going to change a lot for the upcoming tour, I was thinking it would, but with quite some Oxygene Anniversary publicity speak seeping into this tour, I’m not so sure anymore. I guess ADE will be the first test (but can’t get to that one, so I’ll have to wait

). Anyway, it was a blast getting to see Jarre live for the third year in a row. If you’re going to Modena, have fun !
