Hmmm ...
Jarre himself has said a lot about his own music through the years,
sometimes with a serious mind and sometimes with humour.
He said once that for example oxygene 4 was a work
from the link between the conscious and the subconscious,
and when he worked with oxygene 7-13, he tried to find back to this mood again.
When he worked with Metamorphoses he had the album Zoolook on his mind,
and he tried to change this mood from the past to something that could fit to the year 2000,
to the performance in Cairo....Metamorphoses ,
the title Methamorphoses, as he said
... because of his will to change,
in his private life and musically also!
And I think 'Metamorphoses" is a beautiful work by Jean-Michel Jarre...
…very sensitive, and we can see an even more mature artist on the stage in Cairo,
-that’s my opinion.
Today I think “Je Me Souviens†and “Gloria Lonely Boy†are the most
personal and beautiful tracks from the album, but I like the whole album.
I did read from one of his last interviews that if he was not a musician,
-he would like to be a carpenter
… I can imagine the sound from a hammer from his next album!
I look forward to the next album,- new music by Jarre..
but in the same mood....
music from the skin of his heart!
