But Marvin and the shadows still insist on recording their own versions of popular jarre songs.
I don't get your point :?:
Shadows did only 1 JMJ song, and so did Rondat.

The only one's I know too are, The Shadows: Equinoxe 5, and Hank performing on London Kid (album) and London Kid (live) and Rendez-Vous 4 (Live) at Docklands, and the 100th anniversary of the Eifel Tower (London Kid)

Hank Marvin also made a cover version of Oxygene 4.

I don't like his preformances and covers.

Hard to say. Too many solos still unheard... Where has the Chronologie 2 solo from the Barcelona VHS been recorded? I'm not quite sure if it has actually been Barcelona (need to listen to the REAL Barcelona recording again).

I don't understand the last senctence completely. The song is based on Vivaldi's Summer presto.

I know that, you know that, and most of us know that. But whoever has said it's based on the Winter (I've heard Autumn as well) does not know that.

Indeed, I was searching it first at the Winter part. Much later I discovered it was the Presto of Summer.

I feel, perhaps PR should play an acoustic guitar
and with JMJ give us a moving rendition of Reandevous 1.

He has done some acoustic tracks, it's awesome stuff. And to those who don't like the distorted sound, you can clearly hear his outstanding skills when he plays acoustic. I' not too sure whether and where it could work with JMJ's music though

I prefer distorted. That makes Jarre's songs stronger, and mostly it fits perfectly.
