Please send your thoughts to his wife and two children because he is in hospital struggling for his life. This happy, cool, good looking and all in all funny BBC Top Gear man was trying to set new world record in speed. I so hope that the situation stay stable for him!

Richard was injured during filming of the new series of the hit consumer show TOP GEAR for the BBC.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/nort ... 365676.stm

The crash he was involved in was duirng filming, while testing a high performace drag race car that can reach a top speed of 300mph.

My thoughts go out to Richard and his family. He is a very funny guy and a superb presenter. Hope he makes a full recovery and that we'll see him on the TV soon.

(incidently, he was not trying to break a world record)

I heard his status has been moved to stable on the radio this morning, but it's still pretty shocking. Apparently he crashed on the second drive. He had broken the record beforehand on the first attempt, but they needed more film . It really sucks.

I hope he recovers enough to stay presenting, he's very funny. His thoughts go out to his family.

He have talked to Jeremy Clarkson and when Jeremy told an insulting joke to The Hamster, the hamster showed a smile. And the man has also being able to have a short conversation with the other co-host Mr. May. So I guess that The Hamster will be back in buisness soon!

I think he said something along the lines of "You've always been a crap driver"
