My general opinion about athens is that it's an ideal testing ground for atomic bombs, no warnings ofcourse for the PPL who live there...

Well, you had to be there I guess...

It seamed like all PPL in athens try to rip you of, sell you rotted food, pee in your lager, are about 5x as rude to you compared to Paris (!) etc...

During the concert you were not alowed to "sing" along without being shushed (sp?), no clapping during songs either (NO SOUNDINGS! have respect for ancient blah blah.... etc..)

nope, /me will miss the skyline, but the PPL can rot in hell....

I've missed Berlin 1993, Düsseldorf 1994 was cancelled (and hard to travel to back then), and Lyon 1995 was a mere rumour.

Antigoon, you've forgotten to mention that the sound mix was more than awful. Considering that and what you've written, I think you should have been paid for attending these shows.

Chronologie Tour, Wembley 1993 (We paid extra for seats and had a big pillar in the way!)

Concert for Tolerence 1995 (In the middle of 1.2 million people, didn't see Jarre once but loved every minute!)

Oxygene Tour, Manchester 1997 - Just not as good as the previous shows I'd seen. It was quite a disappointment for me. Looking forward to rectifying that!)

1990 La Defense, with bus tour arrangement from Holland organized by Dutch fanclub at the time (JarreMania), wonderful weekend. Paris in the baking sun, the military parading through the streets with tanks, the fire brigade parading in golden helmets, not a cold beer to buy from the street vendors. And when the sun finally set (god that can last long when all you want is for Jarre's lights to go "on") a magical night . After the concert walking slowly back in high spirits on the Rue de la Grande Armee witch was paved white now with concert flyers. With the people who lived in the appartments above throwing buckets of cold water on us from their balcony's to cool us. It was quite wonderful. And back in the bus sharing headphones with the ones who where able to record the live radio broadcast at the spot. Great memories of that weekend.

I attended his concert at the effel tower in 1997. Good sound, many people around, really great ambiance, plenty of light FX.

I also met him, and chated with him in '99 as he was the honorific president of the MC303 groovebox contest., somewhere @ Bercy (Paris)

On another day, in 2000, I was on foot coming back from work via Pont de l'Alma (Paris) when I saw him 100m further. I then cryed, "hey Jean-Michel", he looked around and noticed me. Then he just waved to me 8) and walked into a building.
