Looking for a certain Chronology 4 version

I have been searching about the net for a few months trying to find a certain version of 'Chronology 4'.

This also applies to any old members of 'Jarre.Net' forum from last year. While visiting the site (when it was up and running) someone posted up about a very early version of 'Chronology4' that appeared on a album of various artists (I think). This version was a previously unreleased version.

If anyone who reads this knows which one I am referring too and has (hopefully) this version as a MP3, would they be kind enough to send it to me?. Would be very grateful.

Damn, where did that come from?.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

But I dont think this was the one. I can remember someone put up a 30 second snippet from the track and from what I remember it was not of the same mix you hear here or on the album version.

I certainly could'nt say as I can only base it on the 30 second clip I heard from last year. From what I remember it was pasrt of a synthesizer compilation album which included original artists, and Chrono 4 was one of the tracks. The track was differant than what you hear on the album and the edited version, but it was done by Jarre. It was not a remix that came later or the SWATCH version 'Une Alarme'.

I wish I could remember more

Apart from Une Alarme Qui Swingue and this unedited version or whatever it is, I don't remember any other version of Chronologie 4....

If it is, I have this already and not the version I am looking for.

Damn, this is enoying. I remember the guys over on Jarre.net saying it was a rarity. Im sure it was on the lines of a pre-release to the album. Some said it was not Jarre (but it was Chrono 4), but I think the final conclusion was it was.

It was not the normal mixes we know off, it was not the SWATCH 'Une Alarme' version. The chap (cant remember who) had picked the album up from a second hand store and the track was on the album. From what I remember at the time, no one new it exsisted.

Going back to that one that 'Finaero' posted up, why did they not have this full version on the album. I prefere this ending to the album edit/fade off.

You are mistaken mate ;-)

You're close though.. It was a special remix for swatch mixed by praga khan, it was however similar (but not the same) compared to the Dream Time Mix (not atomium)

That info is hear say though, I never opened that Swatch Cone so I have never even heard my own copy of it....

Antigoon... you are correct, it is a different version (similar if not the same to the one found on the bootleg red vinyl 45 of swatch--that is why I posted this picture but it seems Equinoxe 5 is not sure what they are looking for).

Think the mix you are missing is the Emergency Mix. And don't forget the Praga Kahn remix for Swatch.

The 12" promo single of Chronologie 4 (1 FDM 05 93) is a bit longer than the standard single release - 4'39 compared to 3'55. Perhaps this is the mystery track.
