En effet, W9 diffuse en exclusivité le concert de l’artiste donné en plein coeur de la Cité Interdite en Chine en octobre 2004. Un show historique retransmis devant plus d’un milliard d’individus. Puis, à 21h50, les fidèles de la chaîne pourront suivre les traces du dernier empereur dans un documentaire inédit de 52 minutes plongeant dans les coulisses de l’événement. Enfin, à 23h00, place aux plus grands tubes de Jean Michel Jarre en vidéo. L’intégralité de la soirée sera retransmis samedi 30 juillet dès 01h05 sur M6.

I remembered that my parents said to me during this night to come and see this concert on W9. But I didn't know 3 years ago who was Jean Michel Jarre, and I looked only 5 minutes ( it was Oxygen 2 if I'm not wrong ... )

How was the quality of the clips ?

Quality was rather good, but there was a "W9 Music Spécial Jean-Michel Jarre" message over the picture during the whole evening, as long as a clock.

The message and clock were actually displayed during the video clips only.
The picture during the concert and making of was clear, only including the W9 logo.

Just to clear up things :
The "W9 spécial JM Jarre" message and clock were actually displayed during the video clips only.
The picture during the concert and making of was clear, only including the W9 logo.

I guess that's because clips were copyrighted, and they didn't want them to be broadcasted everywhere.

Well, the W9 logo should be enough then, as long as the track title display style (W9 style).

Anyway, I am currently experimenting plugins that remove TV logo from video source.
It works pretty well on static white logo, as long as they are transparent.
Opaque logo cannot be removed successfully, as there is no remnant visible through the logo.

So, it should be possible to have the picture clearded, without the "Spécial JM Jarre" message nor the W9 logo.
The clock is going to be harder, because this is not a static element.
