The quality is amazing, I could almost feel being in the arena :o
I love it ! :D
No live recording, not even an official, can ever capture the experience of being at a concert. :P

It often gets bad because a big risk is that mics are cracking in the very loud PA sound...maybe one could put some damping material on the mic? :nico:

It would be great if there's gonna be a soundboard recording of each gig. That would be perfect actually.

I wish that Jean-Michel Jarre would sell a recording of each concert in the same way that Dead Can Dance did on their latest tour.

See this site if you don't know what I mean: http://www.dcddiscs.com

He even doesn't have to release them on CD. Just sell them on iTunes like he did with the Bourges concert.

That way I wouldn't have to go through the trouble of recording the concert myself.

@ Dr Jones' recording; the quality is quite nice (no distortions, sound is acceptabily clear), but I'm with Andro here that I won't save this kind of recordings to my hdd, mainly because the live mixing you hear is completely different from cd mixing, which makes it quite annoying for the ears. It's not for nothing that live recordings always are recorded via the direct outs of the mixing desk, so they can remix them in the studio afterwards.

Yeah, but it's better to keep the same mix as during the concert, this way you remember the concert, the emotion and all !

That's the reason why we should't give a mic to Oliver :robertdugenou:

Then you'll have to playback the song at 100 dB too, otherwise you'll hear no hi or lo-end at all :P
