I don't think he is producing any sound cause if we watch with attention we can notice he is some milliseconds late some times.

Generally I think he is the only musician on the concert who is just pretending to be playing an all others are really playing.

Hm, not exactly.
But if so, it is because he is not only a musician during an big concert, but a more.
For example, Cretu can not make concerts...

Jean Michel Jarre plays nothing live on the concert in La defense, even the sample of the camera clicks on souvenir of china is playback.

Top annoyances of the Paris La Defense video

1. Countdown too short (it started with random digits before the 9 appeared)
2. Oxygene 4 too short
3. Laser penguins missing during O4
4. Equinoxe 5 skyline shots towards end of Equinoxe 4
5. NO EQUINOXE 5
6. Poor editing during Souvenir of China. One shot from above of JMJ playing the camera click is totally out of sync. And there is that very long boring shot of the crowd near the end, yet all fireworks during this track were missed!
7. Magnetic Fields 2 too short
8. Not enough long range skyline shots during Zoolookologie... instead too many close up shots of the animations on the buildings.
9. SOC firework appears during Revolutions
10. Lack of rotating Revolutions projection in Revolutions follow up track
11. Rendez-Vous 2 too short, and continuity with skyline images is all over the place.
12. Rendez-Vous 4 skyline images at start of last section of RV2
13. "Calypso intro" to Calypso 2 missing
14. Stupid Laser Harp overlay effect on water during Calypso 2
15. Too many rotating aeriel shots of Amoco Renegades in favour of skyline shots during Calypso 3.
16. RENDEZ-VOUS 4 is missing
17. CALYPSO REPRISE is missing
18. Speeches before SOC, Revolutions, Calypso 2, Calypso and Calypso reprise missing.
19. Why couldn't the stage footage be in real-time, as it was broadcasted in the street live?!!!!

Despite all that, it's still a pretty good video. But there's still no denying it could have been better.

I now feel like starting a full concert re-edited DVD petition!

And to think of the potential extras on such a DVD... Calypso promo, Calypso live promo, Calypso TV performances, TV spots & interviews, audio commentary, subtitles (including translated subtitles), alternative shots, retrospective interviews/documentary... any thoughts?

With a bit of thought, the DVD of possibly the greatest concert in history could actually be quite an amazing release!
