Fvçk... why did I know this was about to happen? It looks like a surprise to me if a new Jarre album / single is released by the time the first release date is known....

In that case, the single / album won't have any connections no more to the concert

We knew that anyway. It was announced quite a while ago. And I don't mind, honestly. :)

As we have had to wait 7 years for a proper studio album, few months waiting won't hurt :D

I do like GOL and S2K a lot as well, perhaps you can't call them fully promoted, but they are studio albums

GeeJee, I completely agree!

I think it's great that Jarre released albums the typical 'fan' didn't expect and not all liked (I actually like many albums by an artist that are not considered popular--just makes them more of a rare find IMHO).

I listened to Sessions 2000 last night and I thought that this is so much better than 99% of some of the other stuff out there now. Same with GOL. Really mellow stuff. So different than typical Jarre which is refreshing.

Also, I for one love Metamorphoses and think it will be viewed better years from now. I know everyone wants another Equinoxe or Chronologie. There si only one of those albums and they belong in a certain time and space. I hope Jarre keeps his experimental spirit and comes up with something we can't predict!
